Brighton and Hove Pride has revealed its complete schedule for its milestone 35th anniversary celebration.
The coastal festival is poised for a celebrity-packed weekend at Preston Park, with events scheduled across August 1 and August 2.
Saturday’s main act features Raye, whose catalogue includes tracks such as Where is My Husband and Prada.

Meanwhile, Diana Ross will serve as Sunday’s headliner, bringing the Preston Park event to a close.
The Sunday icon slot will feature Paris Hilton, while drag legend RuPaul takes the equivalent Saturday position.
Frankie Goes to Hollywood frontman Holly Johnson has been booked for the Legends segment.

Additional main stage entertainment encompasses former Little Mix member Leigh-Anne, Australian artist G Flip and emerging talent Moonchild Sanelly.
Sporty Spice Melanie C is back with what has been described as a dynamic DJ set, with Jessie J, Self Esteem and Five also on the bill.

The dance arena has confirmed appearances from The Blessed Madonna, HAAi, I.Jordan, Hannah Wants, Bimini, Daniel Avery, Patrick Mason and Girls Don’t Sync, alongside headliners Armand Van Helden and Purple Disco Machine.

A variety of stages and immersive areas will be available, including Legends Cabaret, The Cocoa Butter Club, Queer Town, Party Bag, and 2026 additions such as Bears In The Woods, Queer Soap Box and Outro, alongside dedicated family spaces.
The Sussex Gay Liberation Front was established in 1971 by university students and LGBTQ+ campaigners.
The inaugural Gay Parade occurred in 1973, though at that time only a limited portion of the community felt secure enough to participate. The event did not resume until 1991.

A Brighton and Hove Pride representative stated that the organisation views this as a momentous occasion, marking 35 years of the festival.
The annual LGBTQ+ Community Parade will once again open the weekend, carrying this year’s theme of The Power Of Love.
The Power Of Love theme aims to unite attendees through solidarity, resistance and community spirit, whilst continuing the fight for equality.
This milestone prompts reflection on the bravery required to be openly visible during periods when simply appearing was itself an act of defiance.
The movement expanded because individuals stood united, remaining resolute and unapologetic.
The contributions of early activists are commemorated, with recognition of how their courage and collective action propelled the community forward.
Managing director Paul Kemp remarked that the occasion feels particularly significant, commemorating three and a half decades of Brighton and Hove Pride.
He expressed a desire to look back on the progression since the early 1990s, acknowledge the community’s advancement whilst also considering what remains ahead.
The lineup for this year’s Preston Park event showcases performers spanning multiple generations, and attendees can anticipate an exceptional experience.
The focus remains on celebrating love in all its manifestations, with anticipation building for August.
