Ten days of hilarity await at an upcoming comedy gathering.

The annual celebration of stand-up and laughs returns this autumn at Brighton Dome, bringing a comprehensive lineup of performances, workshops and live podcast recordings designed to delight spectators across all age groups and humour tastes.

The event runs from October 16 through October 25, with programming spanning two of the city’s primary entertainment spaces: Brighton Dome and Komedia.

Rosie Crane, who manages programming at Brighton Dome, expressed her delight at staging the event alongside the acclaimed Komedia. She noted how wonderful it was to join forces with two leading comedy institutions in the city to offer audiences an even more spectacular programme. She said she was looking forward to darting between venues to fit in as many shows as possible during the ten-day run.

The festival will showcase a blend of established performers, emerging talents and cult favourites.

Highlights at Brighton Dome include BAFTA-winning comic Tom Davis presenting his new tour Spudgun, alongside former Taskmaster champions Maisie Adam and Sam Campbell.

Irish satirist Blindboy Boatclub will record a live episode of The Blindboy Podcast at the event.

All performances at Brighton Dome will feature live captioning to improve accessibility.

Additional acts appearing in the Corn Exchange feature Funny Women award-winner Laura Smyth, comedian Larry Dean and podcast host Catherine Bohart.

In the Studio Theatre, Celya AB will present her latest show We Must Stop Meeting Like This.

Komedia’s Basement venue will host multi-award-winning comedian Phil Ellis, the interactive Solve-Along-Murder-She-Wrote and Aurie Styla.
