Thousands of free ice creams will be handed out in Brighton.
Ben & Jerry’s will be handing out unlimited cones from its Brighton Scoop Shop in Bond Street on April 14 as part of its annual Free Cone Day.
The global giveaway takes place each year as a way of thanking fans for their support and spreading joy through ice cream.

Jochanan Senf, chief executive of Ben & Jerry’s, said: “Free Cone Day is all about our fans.
“It’s our way of saying thank you with an international moment of togetherness.
“We want to hand out 1 million and one free scoops of ice cream across the globe to spread a little joy on the best unofficial holiday of the year.
“That’s so many free cones, they’d be 17 times the height of Mount Everest, or reach one third of the way to space.”
If you can’t choose between classics like chocolate fudge brownie and cookie dough or cherry garcia, you don’t have to pick just one.
Free Cone Day began in 1979, when the company’s founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield thanked residents in Burlington, Vermont, after their first winter in business.
It has since gone global, with Scoop Shops in 13 countries taking part.
This year, the firm aims to hand out more than 1 million cones worldwide.
