Brighton photographers capture ‘light of our lives’ in monthly contest

Once more, we were genuinely amazed by the submissions received for this month’s Camera Club competition.

The March theme was “the light of our lives” and contestants demonstrated remarkable creativity in interpreting the concept.

Among the entries we particularly enjoyed were Katie Wade’s photograph featuring her canine companion positioned in natural sunlight.

We also appreciated Zuzi Papcununa’s capture of a scenic evening view overlooking the West Pier along Brighton’s seaside.

This month’s overall champion went to Sophie Jasmin Mitchell for her image depicting two figures in silhouette against a Brighton sunset. Congratulations to Sophie on winning £50.

The theme for April is “yellow” and we anticipate seeing your creative interpretations.

Submit your photograph meeting the criteria to The Argus Camera Club Facebook page, including the location where it was captured. Each person may submit one entry, with the cutoff being midnight on April 30.

As has been tradition, the victor will receive a £50 prize.

Best of luck to everyone.
