A outdoor exhibition will be unveiled at Standen House and Garden this spring.

The “Wild and Wonderful Sculpture” exhibition will feature the work of Alison Catchlove, an acclaimed metal sculptor.

Set in the springtime garden of Standen House and Garden, the show will include a collection of metal sculptures inspired by British plants and animals.

The sculptures will be placed around the garden and woods, letting visitors see them as they explore.

The exhibition will start on Thursday, April 16, and run until Sunday, May 31.

Ruth Howard, Standen’s Property Experiences Curator, said: “Alison’s sculptures feel completely at home here.

“They capture the spirit of Standen—the craftsmanship, the connection to nature and the quiet sense of delight you find as you move through the gardens and woodland.

“Set against the fresh colours and new growth of spring, her work adds moments of surprise and joy around every corner.”

Visitors can see the exhibition every day from 10am to 4pm.

The exhibition is free to view, but normal admission prices to Standen House and Garden apply.
