A health and cosmetics retailer is expanding its presence in Sussex with a new outlet at County Mall in Crawley.
The company will take up space on the lower level of the shopping centre, situated beside River Island, with trading expected to commence in mid-May as part of its nationwide development plans.
Centre manager Damien Gough expressed enthusiasm about the arrival, noting that the addition would enhance the centre’s existing lineup of beauty and wellness offerings while providing shoppers with greater access to well-known high street brands. He added that Superdrug’s focus on affordable beauty products, health solutions and customer service made it a valuable fit for the location, with the May launch anticipated positively.
The Crawley branch will feature the retailer’s latest shop layout, presenting customers with a refreshed environment showcasing an expanded range of merchandise alongside expert-led services.
Visitors can expect to find healthcare essentials, modern skincare and cosmetics alongside popular beauty treatments.
This outlet joins County Mall’s existing roster of health and beauty providers, which includes Boots, The Body Shop and Holland & Barrett.
Superdrug currently operates more than 780 shops across the UK and Ireland and continues investing in physical retail premises.
The Crawley store marks another milestone in the chain’s ongoing expansion programme, bringing new job opportunities and an enhanced retail experience to the local community.
The move also supports County Mall’s goal of offering visitors a varied mix of quality shopping choices.
The decision to establish a presence at the centre also indicates sustained demand from shoppers for in-person retail experiences.
