Two people escaped from a flat after a fire broke out below.
Rescue services attended the scene after a fire broke out in a flat doorway next to a barber shop on Endwell Road in Bexhill.
Police said they received reports of the fire just before 10pm on April 17.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and put the fire out.

Police said that two people in the flat above managed to escape the fire without suffering any injuries.
Police are now investigating the incident, and are keen to hear from anyone who has any relevant information or footage.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Police are investigating a fire in the doorway to a flat in Endwell Road, Bexhill, at 9.54pm on Friday, April 17.
“East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended and put out the fire which started in the doorway of the shop. Two people in the flat escaped without injury and were checked over by paramedics at the scene.”

Detective Inspector Mors Lambert said: “We are carrying out enquiries and are keen to hear from any witnesses or from anyone has any relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
