A waterfront gaming venue has finished a £2.7 million overhaul ahead of its 96th anniversary celebrations in 2026.
Grosvenor Casino Brighton, situated across from the Palace Pier, commenced the renovation work in October 2025 to update its Victorian premises with improved gaming facilities, dining options and hospitality services.
General manager Daren Brain stated that the investment represents a significant achievement for the venue and demonstrates the company’s dedication to providing an exceptional experience for visitors.
He added that revamping this historic building offers the perfect way to mark the milestone while ensuring its long-term future.
He expressed enthusiasm about welcoming existing patrons and newcomers alike to experience the updated facilities.
The scheme encompasses extensive improvements across all three gaming levels, featuring 28 additional slot machines and 26 electronic roulette terminals.
Poker enthusiasts now have access to a custom-designed poker area equipped with its own bar and cash desk.
VIP customers can utilise a private gaming suite for exclusive high-stakes events.
The upper level houses a new restaurant offering premium steak and seafood options, with sweeping vistas of the seaside promenade. Table bookings for the establishment can be arranged through OpenTable.
The funding has generated 30 fresh employment opportunities across various departments, while two training academies have also been established to develop and qualify future croupiers.
