A charity has joined it’s home town’s business network.
Mencap Newhaven, Lewes and District, which supports people with learning disabilities across Newhaven and Lewes, is now a member of the Newhaven Chamber of Commerce.
The move is designed to help the organisation build stronger connections within the community and grow its partnerships with nearby businesses and organisations.
Adam Knell, Chairperson and Trustee for Mencap Newhaven, Lewes and District, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to connect with other local businesses and organisations, share the important work we do and learn from others within our community.
“Joining the Chamber allows us to strengthen our presence in the heart of Newhaven and opens the door to new collaborations that can help us expand our impact.
