A pop-up museum is set to return following the success of last year’s event.

Haywards Heath Town Council has announced the return of its Pop-Up Museum, taking place at Haywards Heath Town Hall on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 from 10am to 4pm.

Councillor Duncan Pascoe, mayor of Haywards Heath, said: “We are incredibly proud to bring the Pop-Up Museum back for a second year, and even more excited to expand it across a full weekend.

“This event is a wonderful celebration of our town’s heritage, bringing together local organisations, historians and residents of all ages.

The free, family-friendly event will feature interactive trails, historical exhibits and contributions from a wide range of local groups.

Featured organisations include Cuckfield Museum, West Sussex Libraries, the Beech Hurst Miniature Railway and St Wilfrid’s Church.

Highlights include historical photographs from Charles Tucker, films curated by Screen Archive South East and guided talks from local historians.

Visitors can make voluntary donations, with all proceeds supporting the Mayor’s charity of the year, the Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity.
