Tickets are now on sale for a major summer arts festival.

The Festival of Chichester will feature about 125 independently organised events, running from June 13 to July 19, 2026.

The programme includes over 50 musical performances spanning genres from jazz to folk-rock, as well as classical recitals.

Outdoor theatre productions, poetry and creative writing events, and workshops on various topics are also on the agenda.

The first weekend of the festival coincides with the Cathedral’s SussexFest and will also feature the Chichester Gala, BookFest YA, a mini-festival in Priory Park and several events focused on civic improvement.

Numerous art exhibitions, guided tours and boat trips around Chichester harbour are also part of the festival line-up.

The festival, run by a voluntary committee, expressed gratitude to Chichester City Council for its continued support since the festival’s inception in 2012, as well as Chichester District Council for helping with a major revamp of the festival’s website.

The festival is also supported by Edward Cooke Family Law and the Chichester Observer.

A full festival programme can be downloaded from the festival’s website or found in printed form at the Novium Museum and various other locations around the city.
