Children across West Sussex are receiving their primary and junior school places.
West Sussex County Council’s admissions team managed 8,309 starting school applications this year.
Ninety-nine per cent were offered a place at one of their three preference schools, with 91.8 per cent (7,631 applicants) receiving their first preference.

1,294 applications were received for children transferring from infant to junior school, all of whom will be offered their first preference school.
The offers were sent out by email on April 16.
