A specialist accountancy practice has increased its presence across the South East region following a recent acquisition.
DJH, which receives private equity investment from Tenzing, has completed a takeover of Loucas, a Brighton-based practice. This agreement represents DJH’s second strategic acquisition following the addition of McBrides to its network last year.
Scott Heath, Chief Executive Officer at DJH, said that when the firm completed its first purchase in 2025, expanding into the South East was identified as a priority area for growth, and that is exactly what is occurring.
He added that Loucas fits the profile of businesses the company looks to acquire.
The practice brings with it 50 years of established performance, a skilled group of professionals who have built something exceptional, and a client following that continues to use their services and refer them to others.
Established in 1974, Loucas has spent more than half a century cultivating enduring relationships with owner-managed enterprises.
The practice will now operate within the DJH group, introducing its established client base to a larger organisation capable of offering extended geographic coverage and a wider spectrum of specialist services.
Existing management at Loucas will remain in their positions, with Athos Louca continuing as managing director.
Athos Louca said that joining DJH gives both clients and employees access to enhanced prospects while preserving the relationship-focused philosophy that has defined the business for more than 50 years. He expressed enthusiasm about what this partnership will deliver for clients based in Brighton and the broader South East area.
