Drag star Ginger Johnson is taking her trademark chaos back on the road.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series five winner Ginger Johnson is bringing her latest live show, Show Pony, to The Old Market in Brighton on September 18 as part of a major UK tour.
The national tour will run from September 2026 until February 2027, giving fans across the country the chance to see the acclaimed performer in action.
Tickets will be available through pre-sale on Wednesday, December 10, with general sale beginning Friday, December 12 via gingerjohnson.co.uk.
Ginger Johnson said: “In between whipping up a storm in the MasterChef kitchen, I’ve been busy cooking my brand-new live show and I can’t wait to dish it out in theatres up and down the UK in 2026 and beyond.”
Ginger has made a name for herself with a mix of sharp comedy and outlandish drag, including performances on BBC One’s Celebrity MasterChef and as the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series five.

She returns to the stage following her critically acclaimed 2024 solo show, Ginger Johnson Blows Off!.
Described by The List as “an unholy drag spawn of Evel Knievel, Lucille Ball and Danny La Rue,” her latest show promises an evening of what Theatre Weekly called “a stellar comedic performance.”
Ginger Johnson: Show Pony will tour the UK from September 2026 to February 2027.
Ginger Johnson is an award-winning artist, writer, performer and presenter, with a 15-years-long career in cabaret and theatre.
Her credits include Down The Rabbit Hole (2016), The Queen’s Head (2017) and How To Catch A Krampus (2018).
In 2024, she played Captain Hook in a West End production of Peter Pan.
Her recent one-woman show, Ginger Johnson Blows Off!, played to sold-out audiences from Edinburgh to London and venues across the UK.
On screen, she created and starred in BBC Three’s Ginger’s House (2024), a genre-bending show which aired on BBC Three.
She has also co-written and presented Wakey! (2020), a digital breakfast show focused on mental health and wellbeing that ran for more than 250 episodes.
