A new documentary about football subcultures is to be screened.

The movie, titled ULTRAS, will feature fans of Whitehawk FC in Brighton and will be shown at Duke’s at Komedia on Friday, April 24.

Swedish filmmaker Ragnhild Ekner, who directed the film, will also take part in a Q&A session.

ULTRAS offers a glimpse into the culture of extreme football fanatics.

These fans, often described as the “team’s 12th player,” bring energy and atmosphere to the stands.

It presents a broad view of this football fan culture, highlighting its impact on societies worldwide.

This film is not just a critique, but a tribute to these dedicated fans.
