Man taken to hospital after furniture thrown from flat, windows smashed

A home in Hove became the focus of a police operation after belongings were thrown from an upstairs window.

Officers from Sussex Police arrived at the property on Denmark Villas at approximately 1pm on Wednesday, April 22.

Several windows at the residence were broken during the episode, and police set up a cordon in the surrounding area.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police confirmed that a man aged 30 required medical treatment and was taken to hospital.

The force’s official update stated that following damage to windows and items being ejected from a flat in Denmark Villas, Hove, a 30-year-old male was taken to hospital for treatment. Paramedics gave first aid to the individual before ambulance staff transported him to medical facilities, and the nearby area was temporarily sealed off to enable clean-up of broken glass. The incident happened on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 22, just before 1pm.
