Published on

A brewery is hosting a treasure trail around the city with free beer for an entire year up for grabs.

UnBarred Brewery, based in Brighton, is organising the event over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The trail involves visiting ten pubs, solving riddles to crack a code and drinking local beer.

Participants who solve the code will stand a chance to win free beer for an entire year.

The event will also feature live music, food offers, quizzes and pop-up tastings.

More than 200 prizes, including merchandise, clothing and beer, have been hidden around the pubs.

Participants can claim these instant prizes by finding a treasure chest and exchanging it at the bar.

To take part, participants need to pick up a trail card from any of the participating venues.

The card will have spaces for answers to the clues provided at each stop on the trail.

The clues will be revealed when participants purchase any UnBarred beer.

Once the trail is completed, the answers will form a hidden word.

This word needs to be entered via a QR code on the trail map to be in with a chance of winning.
