A completion date on work to repair a sinkhole has been delayed.
In February, a sinkhole opened up on Adelaide Crescent in Hove.
At the time, Southern Water confirmed engineer teams were on site working to fix a leak on a water pipe.
But over two months on, the work is still not finished and a section of the road remains closed.

A resident living near the works, who wished to remain anonymous, criticised the speed of the repairs being carried out.
He said: “It’s just ridiculous. Someone comes around 8am most days to open up the cabin, but the work is just very, very slow.
“They’ve put a sign up on the barrier which says this work will be finished by May 1st but there’s no way it’s going to be finished.”
Southern Water confirmed that due to more complex damage to the sewer, work is expected to take a further two weeks to complete.
The resident added: “Other neighbours are also getting fed up. The road has been closed since February.
“The work has taken up car parking spaces. Parking in this area is already quite precious. It creates further pressure on the remaining spaces.”

A spokesman for Southern Water said: “We’re very sorry for any disruption this work is causing residents.
“The sinkhole was caused by a collapsed sewer, which led to a water leak that has now been repaired. Our teams are now carrying out more complex repairs to fix the damaged sewer itself.
“Because of the extent of the damage underground, this work is expected to take a further two weeks to complete. We appreciate this is frustrating, particularly where parking and access are affected, and we’re working as quickly and safely as possible to finish the repairs and reopen the road.”
