Pupils are joyfully receiving their anticipated A-level outcomes and confirming university admissions after the annual results were released.

East Sussex College is commemorating another year of impressive achievements across A-levels, T-levels and vocational qualifications.

Exactly 110 learners secured A or A* grades, while 56 A-level subjects maintained a perfect pass rate.

Cailyn Kennedy, who pursued English Language, Politics and History in Eastbourne and attained A*, A*, A, commended the assistance she received from her lecturers.

She mentioned that her experience at the college was highly positive. Her teachers provided guidance whenever required but also allowed considerable autonomy. When she wished to study independently in the library, they permitted this because they had confidence in her. This approach undoubtedly contributed to her academic success.

Ms Kennedy is now proceeding to The London School of Economics and Political Science to undertake International Relations studies, with aspirations toward a future in international law.

George King, who studied Biology, Psychology, English and an Extended Project Qualification in Hastings, also accomplished excellent results.

He expressed that he was delighted with his performance and thoroughly enjoyed his time at the college. He felt well-supported and noted that his teachers encouraged him to reach his full potential.

T-level candidates also excelled, obtaining a 91.3 per cent pass rate with 34 learners earning Distinctions.

Nine T-level programmes, encompassing Digital, Health, Management and Administration and Education and Early Years, achieved flawless pass rates.

Joshua Cooper, who completed an Engineering T-Level at the Eastbourne campus, has confirmed his university position.

He stated that he was pleased to have secured a university place, and would be attending Derby University. He acknowledged the substantial assistance, passion and dedication demonstrated by the teaching staff.
