A refreshed customer experience has launched at a well-known fast food chain.
The McDonald’s location in Hastings, operated by franchisee Carel Venter, has reopened following a redesign.
The renovation forms part of the company’s broader reimaging initiative, bringing cutting-edge technology and an updated floor plan to the venue.
Carel Venter said he was proud to reinvest in the Hastings restaurant. He noted that the dining space is more modern and that distinct areas have been created for customers eating in and for delivery drivers, resulting in an improved experience for all. He added that it was exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of the Hastings restaurant and expressed confidence that the changes would benefit both customers and the restaurant team by making their jobs easier.
The renovation also encompasses enhancements for employees, including a remodelled crew room.
The updated design aims to bolster digital ordering platforms and increase operational efficiency throughout the establishment.
Classic counter service for walk-in guests remains an option, though visitors will now find designated zones for various ordering approaches and additional room for sit-down meals.
The front counter has been eliminated to make better use of the restaurant’s interior space.
