The 2026 RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run will feature more than four hundred historic vehicles embarking on the iconic route.

Departing from Hyde Park at sunrise on Sunday, November 1, this traditional journey serves as the grand finale of London Motor Week and follows the St James’s Motoring Spectacle, which takes place the previous day on Saturday, October 31.

The Royal Automobile Club oversees the spectacle, which is held along Pall Mall and provides a complimentary celebration of automotive heritage and technological advancement, encompassing everything from Victorian-era conveyances to contemporary electric vehicles and emerging mobility solutions.

The Royal Automobile Club’s chairman, Duncan Wiltshire, stated that the St James’s Motoring Spectacle has rapidly become one of the capital’s most unique automotive occasions in its third year, uniting remarkable machines, compelling narratives and admirers of all ages in central London. He noted that whether one’s interest lies with veteran automobiles, Formula 1, high-performance sports cars or the innovations that will shape tomorrow’s transportation, there will be attractions to captivate every visitor. He expressed his pleasure at welcoming all attendees to Pall Mall for what is expected to be the most impressive and thrilling spectacle yet.

Last year’s gathering attracted in excess of twelve thousand visitors and displayed over one hundred and fifty machines.

This iteration will incorporate the St James’s Concours, an exhibition presenting vehicles from motoring’s earliest era, with numerous participants opting for period-appropriate attire.

A dedicated Formula 1 presentation will commemorate the centenary of the inaugural British Grand Prix held at Brooklands in 1926, showcasing machines spanning from the dawn of Grand Prix competition through to current hybrid technology.

Guests will additionally have the opportunity to view the Royal Automobile Club’s golden British Grand Prix Trophy, recently presented to Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc following his triumph at Silverstone.

The St James’s Motoring Spectacle operates between 10am and 3pm.
