A fresh pizza establishment is getting ready to launch in Brighton.
Connie’s Pizza will be occupying the premises previously held by Gourmet Burger Kitchen on Gardner Street.
The burger chain shut its doors earlier this month, displaying a sign in the window stating that the venue had closed permanently and expressing regret for any disruption caused.
The unit’s windows have since been fitted with promotional material announcing Brighton’s newest pizza destination.
An official opening date has not yet been announced but information on Connie’s website indicates the venue is launching in the city shortly.
This launch will mark the chain’s second branch, having already established one in the capital.
The company was established by chef Andrea Asciuti, who emphasises the restaurant’s offering of London-inspired pizza with Italian influence.
Signature pizzas available at the London branch feature vodkas sauce, chori piz, double pepperoni with honey, funghi, and Mary nara.
Pizza costs range from six to twelve pounds, with the venue also providing a variety of starters and desserts.
