Prehistoric creatures will be descending on Eastbourne’s Beacon shopping centre for a summer holiday event.

The complimentary Dino Discovery Days will take place on Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26, offering families the opportunity to encounter realistic dinosaur models through walkabout performances and entertainment shows.

The Beacon’s general manager Mark Powell said he anticipated visitors would be impressed by the dinosaur displays and described the activity as an enjoyable family outing that formed part of the centre’s efforts to animate the shopping experience during the summer months.

A dedicated marquee will be erected near Primark, where guests can examine the dinosaurs at close range and take part in a schedule of hands-on entertainment.

Entry to the event is free of charge, and it forms part of the centre’s wider slate of summer holiday offerings for families.
