McDonald’s London Road, Brighton, to reopen late September after redesign

Published on

A fast-food outlet in Brighton’s city centre has clarified the reasons behind its temporary shutdown following online discussion about the closure.

The McDonald’s branch situated on London Road in Brighton has ceased operations temporarily while renovation work takes place.

A representative for the company stated that the establishment is scheduled to resume trading towards the end of September.

Construction personnel at the premises indicated in recent weeks that efforts have been focused on both the ground level and upper level of the building.

One individual employed at the location noted that the premises had not undergone any improvements for a decade and that such work had become necessary.

The temporary closure prompted considerable discussion on social media platforms, with members of the public expressing curiosity about when the venue would resume operations.

One individual commented that improved signage would be beneficial in reducing enquiries from customers uncertain about whether the establishment had permanently ceased trading or was being converted to alternative use.

Nearby locations in Brighton and Hove, including facilities on Western Road and at Churchill Square, continue to operate under normal circumstances.
