Brighton railway enthusiasts can drive historic railcar October 3-4, £35

Volks Electric Railway in Brighton is providing rail enthusiasts with the chance to operate a vintage railcar.

The event is scheduled for October 3 and 4, allowing participants to complete a full round trip along the line.

Each session runs for 75 minutes and begins with a safety briefing and introduction.

Attendees then take control of the vehicle for 30 minutes while accompanied by an experienced trainer.

The experience costs £35 per person and is available to those aged 18 and over.

Light refreshments are provided as part of the package.

Each participant is permitted to bring up to two additional guests along.
