An establishment in Hove is seeking permission to sell alcohol and provide late-night refreshments until the early hours on two days of the week.
Etch Restaurants Ltd has filed an application with Brighton and Hove City Council to modify the premises licence for the venue located at 214-216 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2DJ.
The request would allow extended trading hours for alcohol service and late-night refreshments until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Additionally, the application proposes alterations to an existing condition governing the lower ground floor area.
The variation would remove the requirement that alcohol sales be tied to food consumption at the venue.
Members of the public who wish to submit comments on the application must contact the council no later than September 14.
The complete application documentation can be examined at the Licensing Authority offices situated at Bartholomew House, Bartholomew Square, Brighton, BN1 1JP.
Applicants should be aware that deliberately providing false information in licence submissions constitutes a criminal offence carrying an unlimited financial penalty.
