A spokesperson representing West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service advised that they received notification at 12.28pm regarding a blaze on Beaconsfield Road in Littlehampton. Joint Fire Control dispatched three fire engines to the location. On their arrival, crews discovered two garden structures fully engulfed in flames and crew members tackled the blaze using hose lines. Personnel continue to work at the location, applying water to cool the area and deploying thermal imaging equipment to detect any remaining heat sources. Members of the public are being urged to steer clear of the vicinity to enable responders to operate without obstruction.
