East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service responded at 3.32am on May 2 following reports that a large HGV truck had struck The Coffee House along the A22 in Nutley, Uckfield.
Fire crews collaborated with law enforcement and ambulance personnel at the High Street location for several hours, with authorities urging residents to steer clear of the vicinity.
UK Power Networks was dispatched to the site due to damaged electrical infrastructure.
According to the fire service, all occupants of the building escaped harm and no individuals remained trapped inside the truck.
Paramedics provided treatment to one person for minor injuries.
By 7am, fire crews were reinforcing the structure while the truck had already been towed away. The team departed the scene at 8.50am.
