Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards is closed due to a police incident involving a man on the roof of a property.

An eyewitness said they the man was “throwing things from the roof”.

Police update

Police have issued an update, confirming that the road is still closed.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “A section of the A21 Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards, remains closed due to an ongoing incident.

“Police were called around 12.30pm this afternoon (April 29) following a report of a disturbance and a man on the roof of a property.

Road remains closed

An eyewitness at the scene around an hour ago said a man could be seen throwing items off the roof of a building.

The road remains closed to the public while police handle the incident.
