Morning update on Sussex roads as holidaymakers make their way to coastal destinations during the warm weather.
The Chichester area and routes heading toward West Wittering are seeing the worst congestion, with West Wittering Beach drawing large numbers of visitors.
Delays are also reported approaching Camber Sands.
A vehicle boot sale is creating slow-moving traffic along the A259 in Winchelsea, stretching between Parsonage Lane and Monks Walk, in both directions between Camber and Hastings.
The sale is responsible for the hold-ups.
According to the AA, traffic remains dense with wait times affecting all approaches to the Stockbridge roundabout in Chichester.
Police have shut the Hastings seafront following a serious incident.
West Wittering’s car park is at full capacity for the entire Bank Holiday weekend.
