A care home is celebrating National Gardening Week by inviting the community to enjoy its gardens and take part in outdoor activities.
Mill View in East Grinstead will host an open garden event on Saturday, April 25, from 11am to 3pm, giving residents and visitors the chance to get involved in planting and creative activities.
Trish Banks, home manager at Mill View, said: “We’re so excited to be welcoming the local community to our gardens here at Mill View.
“Spring has certainly sprung and residents have been enjoying sprucing up the garden and ensuring it’s ready for our open event.
“We understand the positive benefits that being out in nature can have on mental wellbeing, as well as encouraging physical activity.
“The residents are looking forward to spending the day in the garden while getting to know new people and spending time with friends of the home.
