Firefighters tackled a house fire in Worthing during the early hours today.
Units from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service rushed to deal with a burning property situated on Brooklyn Avenue in the town.
The flames originated in the kitchen of the dwelling, according to inquiries.
A representative from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the emergency call was received at 9.04am this morning regarding a fire affecting a property on Brooklyn Avenue in Worthing.
Joint Fire Control dispatched three fire engines to address the incident.
When crews arrived, firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus brought the kitchen fire under control.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 10.48am.
