Public indecent exposure on Brighton seafront: man charged

Criminal charges have been brought against a person in relation to an indecent exposure incident.

On the morning of April 10, officers were alerted to reports that a man was blocking road traffic, weaving between lanes, exposing his genitals, and shouting at both motorists and passersby along Marine Parade in Brighton.

Police apprehended the suspect at the pedestrian crossing near the junction with Portland Place.

Sussex Police have pressed exposure-related offences against 41-year-old Sikander Sihotra, who has no fixed address. He has been granted bail and must appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on May 28.

A force representative indicated that anyone with knowledge of this occurrence can provide details through the force website or by phoning 101, citing reference number 233 of 10/04.
