A driver from Hungary has received a financial penalty for traveling too fast on the A23 road.
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court, Antal Janos Abraham, aged 37 and residing at Szent László utca in Szeged, Hungary, was ordered to pay £140 as a penalty along with an additional surcharge.
The offence occurred on the A23 near Pyecombe on 14 March 2025.
Court records state that he was operating a Vauxhall vehicle above the 60mph maximum permitted for commercial vehicles travelling on a dual carriageway.
He admitted the offence, and three penalty points were added to his licence.
