An officer is stationed at the boundary surrounding Moon’s Lodge, while members of the investigation team have been seen going in and out of the premises.

Sussex Police has been approached for further information.

Patrons staying at the adjacent Queensbury Hotel told The Argus that they noticed activity within the building earlier today.

They said they had been woken by sounds in the early hours but had not heard anything else since then.

A reporter is at the scene and will provide additional updates as they emerge.
