An unauthorised traveller encampment has left a residential green space, after being issued with a vacate notice by the council.
The group of travellers, who had set up approximately 15 caravans on land between Hazel Road and Laburnum Grove in Bognor Regis, first arrived in the North Bersted area on April 17.
They were later issued with a notice to vacate the encampment by West Sussex County Council.
A spokesman for Sussex Police has since confirmed that the force understands the vehicles have now moved on.
Police had been monitoring the situation and patrolled the area daily during the duration of the encampment.

The county council is the lead authority responsible for managing unauthorised encampments in West Sussex.
The council says it will consider tolerating an encampment for a short period if occupants are behaving and the site is kept tidy, but adds it is likely to seek eviction if the camp is causing a nuisance.
This approach was used recently with a traveller group at Goring Gap near Worthing, where eviction proceedings were required.
