According to the traffic service, one lane was blocked with stationary traffic caused by a hazard on the road on A27 Lewes Road eastbound near B2123 The Drove (Falmer/Rottingdean Junction). The hazard was in the building zone. Traffic was already queuing there due to maintenance work.
