Temporary road closures are set to be implemented for Brighton’s Children’s Parade.
The celebration takes place on May 2, with traffic management measures operating between 8.30am and 1pm.
Brighton and Hove City Council has approved various arrangements to facilitate the parade.
These encompass the temporary removal of one-way system requirements along Tichbourne Street and Regent Street.
The taxi standing areas on either side of East Street will additionally be unavailable throughout the occasion.
Furthermore, restrictions preventing general traffic from using bus lanes on North Street will be waived.
Bus gate regulations will be temporarily suspended at Marlborough Place where it meets Gloucester Place, as well as where St George’s Place joins York Place.
Existing bans on right turns from King Place, Windsor Street, and Portland Street will be revoked for the duration of the event.
