A school is reducing its fees after buying its buildings.
Our Lady of Sion School in Worthing is lowering costs now that it no longer needs to pay annual rent.
The school said the move would help families facing financial pressures, including the recent introduction of VAT on school fees and broader cost-of-living challenges.
A school spokesperson said: “By lowering fees while maintaining its high standards, the school is broadening access, ensuring more children can benefit from its rich, values-driven educational experience.”

Sion School recently celebrated GCSE results, with 94 per cent of students securing grades 9–4 and 48.6 per cent achieving top 9–7 grades.
The school ranked in the top 2 per cent nationally for Value Added, with students averaging one full GCSE grade higher than predicted.
The spokesperson said students are part of a “family-like community” and benefit from being part of a global network of Sion Schools.
They added: “While our name reflects our heritage, Sion is fully inclusive and welcomes students of all faiths as well as those with no religious affiliation, creating a diverse and open-minded learning environment.”
