Statement from the bus company

A representative for Stagecoach, the operator of the bus, said the company can confirm that their Service 700 was part of a traffic incident on Western Road, Brighton, on 3 April 2026.

Emergency services went to the scene, and the company is working closely with local authorities. The firm thanked the emergency services for their swift response.

The safety of passengers, employees, and the public continues to be the top priority.
