The ex-cook secured a £1 million windfall in the National Lottery’s Lotto draw on December 31, 2025. He achieved this by matching five main numbers along with the bonus ball, resulting in a seven-figure sum.
The lucky winner elected to stay anonymous but revealed that the win has completely changed his life.
He stated that he is thrilled to finally be able to do something special for his family.
His first priorities include covering the costs of his daughter’s honeymoon as a wedding gift. He is also thinking about purchasing new lounge furnishings and possibly giving his kitchen a makeover.

The prize was won in the Lotto draw on October 4, 2025. One ticket holder matched all six main numbers: 6, 8, 12, 33, 49, and 59.
The total prize value reaches £10,633,323.
The claimant must retrieve their winnings before 11:59pm on Thursday, April 2. Should the prize remain uncollected by that time, the full amount will be allocated to National Lottery Good Causes.
