Published on

A man in his early sixties came off his bike after a major crash on a local road.

The collision happened between a black Yamaha motorcycle and a white Ford Focus along the A286 North Street in the middle of Midhurst at around 11.25am on March 18.

The motorcyclist, a 61-year-old from Surrey, sustained injuries. The Ford Focus driver, a 34-year-old woman also from Surrey, was unharmed.

Police are urging members of the public who witnessed the incident to come forward. Officers are especially keen to locate the driver of a black Rolls Royce who was travelling behind the two vehicles and could be an important witness.

Investigators are also asking anyone with footage from CCTV cameras, dashcams, mobile phones or doorbell cameras that captured the crash to get in touch.

Those with information can report it to Sussex Police via their website, quoting reference 504 of 18/03.
