A celebratory confetti cannon will signal the commencement of operations at a new family entertainment venue in Peacehaven.
Meridian Mayhem is scheduled to open its doors to the public on Saturday, August 29, marking the transformation of the premises formerly occupied by Sky High Trampoline Park.
The facility is managed by Wave Active.
In a statement regarding the launch, Wave Active chief executive Duncan Kerr explained that the attraction had been conceived with vibrancy and enjoyment as central principles.
The organisation’s staff anticipated delivering a diverse programme of activities catering to all age groups.
Saturday’s event would provide attendees with the chance to familiarise themselves with the facility, interact with employees, and sample the entertainment options planned for the forthcoming period.
Further details can be found at meridianmayhem.co.uk.
The establishment includes a multi-level adventure structure designed for youngsters aged up to 12 years, providing a secure setting for climbing activities and exploratory play.
Teenagers and adults can access Meridian Mayhem Multiball, an offering that converts electronic gaming into tangible recreation through projection technology on a large interactive surface.
Participants engage by throwing, striking and moving through numerous energetic challenges.
Lewes District Council cabinet member for tourism and leisure Councillor Johnny Denis commented that the authority’s community infrastructure levy contribution of £127,000 had enabled the authority to support its partners at Wave Active in establishing an exceptional addition to the area’s family entertainment options.
Councillor Denis expressed anticipation for witnessing the venue filled with enthusiasm, activity and merriment throughout the year.
The facility intends to stage regular events and programming, while also providing celebration packages for children under 12 years of age.
