The CBBC programme Saturday Mash-Up!

is seeking young participants for its upcoming ninth series, which is scheduled to broadcast in September.

The weekly Saturday morning programme offers audiences a blend of interactive challenges, famous faces, musical acts and viewer involvement.

Children between the ages of eight and twelve who reside in Sussex are being given the chance to become part of a segment where they can drench a consenting adult of their choice in slime on the live broadcast.

The segment, branded as slime sealed delivered, gives the young participants the opportunity to slime an adult the child believes has earned the honour.

Applications must be submitted by a parent or guardian through the BBC’s official website.

The programme originally premiered in 2017.

Joe Tasker and Shereen Cutkelvin serve as the main presenters, with Dave Chapman operating an accompanying puppet creature.
