Sussex-based DMH Stallard merges with Surrey firm GBH Law

Published on

A law firm headquartered in Sussex has finalised a combination with a practice established in Godalming, a move designed to extend its footprint and client offerings throughout Surrey.

DMH Stallard, a prominent firm operating across the Southeast, confirmed the integration with GBH Law on October 14, 2026, characterizing the arrangement as a complementary pairing intended to solidify its position within Surrey’s legal sector.

Kate Doody, a director at GBH Law, expressed enthusiasm about the development, noting that the transition marks a significant new phase for the firm, its personnel and its clientele.

She indicated that the combined organisation would enable both teams to collaborate in delivering comprehensive legal support while maintaining the high standards of service that clients have historically expected.

The agreement will expand the breadth of legal expertise accessible to those who have entrusted their matters to GBH Law, with particular emphasis on family law, private client work and property transactions.

The combination also aligns with DMH Stallard’s strategy of continued expansion and capital investment throughout the London and Southeast legal marketplace.

Richard Pollins, serving as managing partner at DMH Stallard, conveyed his pleasure at formally incorporating GBH Law into the firm.

He described GBH Law as a well-regarded practice in Surrey that boasts a skilled team and an established base of clients.
