A man is facing jail after admitting raping a woman in a car park.
Suleman Mukaish, of Cambridge Road, Worthing, pleaded guilty to the attack which took place in Lyndhurst Road car park in Worthing on March 11.
Judge Christine Laing KC ordered a pre-sentence report to assess his dangerousness as she described the case as “effectively a stranger rape” at Lewes Crown Court today, April 13.
She said the defendant should be under no illusion that a substantial custodial sentence appears inevitable.
Prosecutor Chetna Patel told the hearing Mukaish had no previous convictions and was arrested at Gatwick Airport with a one-way ticket to Pakistan.
