A Michelin-starred restaurant is offering a unique ‘Pasture to Plate’ experience.
Knepp Wilding Kitchen, located on the Knepp Rewilding project in West Sussex, is to host the event on June 17.
Participants will start in the converted Sussex barn with refreshments and an introduction from a safari guide.
The tour includes a safari across the 3,500-acre rewilding site, home to free-roaming animals, including storks, beavers, ponies, longhorn cattle, Tamworth pigs and deer.
The experience continues with a visit to the site’s waste-free butchery.
The head butcher will offer samples of Wild Range charcuterie and explain more about their whole-animal butchery.

The day concludes back at the restaurant with a seasonal, sharing-style lunch.
The menu features Knepp’s organic meat and fresh produce from their market garden.
The Knepp project is known for its pioneering rewilding efforts.
Free-roaming cattle, pigs and deer help restore soil and create habitats for wildlife.
This process results in organic, pasture-fed meat, which is served in the Wilding Kitchen, sold in their shop and available online.
The ‘Pasture to Plate’ experience aims to connect visitors with the landscape and its ethos, providing a comprehensive understanding of Knepp’s rewilding work.
