Travellers using rail services this early May bank holiday are being told to make preparations in advance because of scheduled maintenance and upgrade projects under way in Sussex and other areas of the south east.
In Sussex, the engineering scheme will have an impact on several lines from Saturday, May 2 through to Monday, May 4.
On Sunday, May 3, the disruption will spread further, with coaches taking over rail services between Three Bridges and Lewes or Brighton while efforts continue at Preston Park and Keymer Junction to boost the dependability of switches and crossings.
