A £9,000 funding opportunity is up for grabs to support grassroots projects across the country.

Caremark, one of the UK’s leading home care providers, has launched its new Community Care Fund, offering three individual grants of £3,000 each to help community initiatives that improve people’s lives.

David Glover, CEO at Caremark, said: “At Caremark, we see every day how powerful local projects can be in bringing people together and improving quality of life.

“The Community Care Fund is our way of recognising and empowering the ideas that can truly transform lives across the UK.

“It is also about giving communities a voice.”

The fund is open to nominations from the public, community groups and not-for-profit organisations in West Sussex.

Eligible projects could include revitalising a pre-school play area, planting greenery in a public park, upgrading a community centre kitchen, or funding supplies for a charity arts club.

One finalist will be shortlisted from each of Caremark’s 12 UK regions, with the final three winners chosen through a public vote on Caremark’s website and social media channels.

Nominations must include a brief description of the project, how the funds would be used and a supporting photograph.

The deadline for submissions is midnight on May 31, 2026.
