An individual attempted to hold up a convenience store but departed without any money.

The incident occurred at the Premier Morris Store located on Widdicombe Way in Moulsecoomb shortly after 7am on April 2. The perpetrator reportedly demanded cash while carrying a weapon.

Despite his efforts, he left the establishment with nothing and ran downhill along Widdicombe Way.

A woman aged in her 60s sustained minor injuries during the occurrence.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’7″ tall, clad in a black balaclava, a light grey jumper, dark trousers and black trainers. He was also wearing a tan-coloured jacket featuring a red emblem on the right shoulder blade.

While much of his face remains obscured in the images, police are requesting that anyone who believes they can identify the individual, witnessed the event, or possesses any relevant footage or information contact them.
